The new Global Innovation Hub at Enniscorthy Technology Park is been created to provide a facility with a focus on developing green solutions, technologies, products and services that help protect the environment, conserve the Earth’s natural resources and provide a sustainable future.

For Start Up’s, Scale-up’s, Innovation Team’s, Technology Team’s, Sustainability Professionals and landing space for Global Brands and FDI. Our facility is also be part of an international network of IMPACT innovation hubs to help our members with multiple global training programmes, information sharing, tracking latest trends and establishing contacts.

The Build Environment generates nearly 50% of Annual global CO2 emissions. Hence, our Innovation Hub will provide facilities to focus on this challenge

GreenTech HQ Focus Areas

UN Global HQ & Coordination Centre

UN Global HQ & Coordination Centre for High Performance Building Initiatives, including 200+ Centres of Excellence and Academic Institutions working on, solutions, research and education in the building and construction industry.

This UN centre has been endorsed by Minister for Housing, who is providing seed capital of €240,000 to help centre get off the ground. A Wexford Co Council and WWETB consortium have also been approved by UN to operate one of the 200+ centres of excellence in Enniscorthy.

This has already started as an NZEB training centre. Enniscorthy is also working on an Irish Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Centre in conjunction with Government and Enterprise Ireland officials.

  • Developing technologies that reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases
  • Digital enabled production, IOT, smart mobility solutions, blockchain and AI and AR technologies for use in Greentech sector.
